Hello all, I am wondering why the collar upgrades cost so much? From Legendary to Mythic it takes 3,750 Insignia Powder and 100 Greater Empowerment Shards. Insignia Powder? What is up with this? You can not purchase it in game anywhere that I know of, and although insignias have dropped more lately, it would take a very long time to reach 3,750 Insignia Powder at 2 powders per refine. The cheapest Legendary Insignia on the Auction House right now is 225,000 AD and refines for only 250 powder, for a cost of 3,375,000.
Then we have the shards. I have completed the Citadel and have only gotten 1 Greater Empowerment Shard. They are currently selling on the Auction House for around 65,000 AD. For a cost of 6,500,000 AD for 100 of them. Grand Total for upgrade from legendary to mythic, 9,975,000 and that's a conservative figure. So over 10 million AD for 1 upgrade. That is too much..!
My suggestion, make insignia powder 1)creatable through professions or 2)a profession. Low lvl = common powder/insignia, Intermediate = rare powder/insignia, Skilled = epic powder/insignia, and Masterwork = legendary powder/insignia.
As for the Shards of Greater Empowerment, I really have no suggestions except to make them a little more accessible in game somehow.
