The pirate king's retreat bugged

I have tried to complete this que twice both times battle through to the only to be killed before actually getting to fight the boss. Instead of the purple haze and timer just die instead. If try to activate once revived just keeps jumping of the jetty and have to log out to get out of the mission.

Anybody else having this problem and when can we have it fixed please
