I am proposing 2 ways to thrive pvp and make it more competitive:
First of all, only the top 10% should get rewards, for 3 reasons
1. Trolls will prolly give up after several try after finding they can not reach top %
2. It encourages less geared/low skilled players to play better, and significantly promotes competition, since people who is on the verge of 10% will keep playing and competes with each other. It may eliminates some low geared players in the short run but in the long run it will make pvp more competitive
3. People who is skilled enough can still earn rewards, but they have to put significantly more efforts to reach 10%. Currently many players just aim for top 50% or 25%, which is too easy to reach (if lucky less than 10 games)
4. eliminates win trading from less skilled players. I noticed there are some players who try to do win trading in normal queue recently, by afk to let others win, etc. They can prolly still reach top 50% or 25% with the cheat in currently system; however if we only allow 10% to get rewards it would most likely eliminates those issues.
Secondly, reduce the kicking cooldown from 4 hours to 10 minutes
Currently many players is trolling the queue with low geared items/throw match deliberately/afk at begining. This not only ruin the match itself, but also promote hates/attack between players. Currently people can only kick every 4 hours, and some trolls know it and keep queueing to ruin other's match (because they know people's kick is very limited)
This 2 proposes would siginificantly promotes competition and incease match quality. It is also good for cryptic, since people who want to receive pvp rewards would spend more money to gear up. A win-win situations for both players/cryptic.

We would get fewer crappy pugs just in it for their quick 6 games, so number of cases of reward farming would decrease.
I don't think allowing people to kick more is going to make the games better, it will probably just make the outcomes from them even more HAMSTER.

What needs to happen is regular domination needs to become the only 5vs5 domination que that counts towards anything for now. Solo que needs to be taken out for now. This will make it much harder for farmers to misuse regular dom que and also opens up a lot of doors to real PVPers that have been closed for a long time now. People would be able to get their quick matches where they are actually getting ranked AND be able to play as a team, which does promote better gameplay. Regular dom used to be only domination que in the past so we have a pretty good idea of what pros and cons its going to have. It will mean lone quers will frequently lose to partial and full teams again, but at this point its very apparent that solo que didn't succeed in protecting lone players from getting stomped and experiencing very unwelcoming conditions, and we need the pros regular dom brings back more.
We also need more improvements and safeguards in place for the rewards structure/leaderboard. The repeatable PVP milestone rewards system I came up with a while ago would help with this. Also making rewards gated more behind winning matches and other indicators of playing games well, and not possible to earn any sellable stuff from participation alone.
The leaderboard also needs to encourage players to play more games not less, right now it incentivizes people to play fewer matches to get rewarded and it becomes more difficult to score well the more games you play.
Selling essential items for gearing up in PVP that scale up in PVP and have 0 stats in PVE would also help newcomers get what they need to be able to play PVP competitively. Could sell those in the trade of blades stores, should be bound to account.
It could also be an option to limit PVP rewards to 1 copy of each class per account, would also make it more difficult to farm it.

i am just saying rewards/kick cooldown should be changed
for example, they need to fix kick cooldown time anyway, imagine if people only do normal queue, trolls can still queue inside if u not enough kick
1) First, about top 10%. In this moment the pvp players are really few. Today I lost 6 matches, cause pugs, low geared players, not skilled players, afk etc. This situation brought down my ranking from third page to seventh page. I don't care about leadboard but today I didn't play at all. However, the problem's solution is not give rewards at top 10%. In this way we will reduce further the number of pvp players. The same players will always play. For me the solution could be make two different seasons. Something like "Low Season" and "High Season". So, the players within a certain item level can't run in the "High Season". Each one of the two season will has its rewards etc. If we choose to remove all rewards over top 10% those rewards will always be grab from the same players. Soon we will no longer have pvp players.
2) Second, about kick's cooldown. I don't agree. In this moment, as always, the most part of pvp community is toxic. If we could have a possibility to kick every 5 minutes it will be a mess. Also this "kick system" could favor the same players as I said before. Today I got kick from a match for no good reason. Just because someone decided to ask for a kick. This problem could be solved with two different seasons too. So, among players of equal level the need to kick shouldn't be exist.
