Loxbox fly-in notifications

How do I turn this off, like I can in Star Trek Online? There doesn't seem to be a checkmark in the notifications box, and I'd like to turn it off because it is annoying. Thanks!

    You can't. The only thing you can do is to move the "Lockbox notification" in Hub to behind something.

    It would be unusual to be able to turn off ads in a free game. That is what those notifications are after all.

    Technically you can hide them off the bottom of your screen. One of our guild officers found this tweak, many years ago, and many of us use it. Once in a while they will reset your settings and we just reload it again.

    1. From the menu choose "Rearrange HUD" from the options.
    2. Drag the notice to the lower left corner (it is the only one without a hide option). Press Esc key when done.
    3. Save your GUI as a named file. - Type into chat /ui_save_file mygui.txt
    4. Open the saved GUI file in a text editor.
    5. Find something that looks like this;
      eaStoredPositions
      {
       pchName _Cell_Notificationlockboxcell_0_Jail_Hud
       eOffsetFrom 5
       fWidth 400.000000
       fHeight 30.000000
       iVersion 54
       chPriority 20
       uiTime 619031852
      }
    6. Change/add three lines, no other lines matter, then save;
      fPercentY 0.00
      fWidth 0.000000
      fHeight 0.000000
    7. Type into chat /ui_load_file mygui.txt Now when you load this file the lockbox notice is gone.

    It is used to induce you to buy or reinforce the idea that people are winning and you are not, since you are not buying keys. This is like some old war propaganda ploy to make the user desire to buy more keys from the store. I find it has the opposite affect on me. I seldom get sucked into psychological tactics that aim to depress or guilt me into buying a product. Cryptic should do themselves and all of us a favor, just drop it, and allow the game to sell itself. You have a good product, but this aspect is hurting you more than helping.

    Just killing time...
