Avernus instances Halved

We went from 40 instances to 21. Last I looked all were full of 18 people other than mine and two others.

Fix this.

It makes it impossible to set up a hunt group - much less one the size Nightspine requires. (No hunting - no upgrades for weapons reach AH). People are not amused as it is.

Impossible to jump instances to look for hunt marks. You’re stuck racing other people around to get a shot in on any that show up.

Can’t organize bhes, obviously. Makes the whole module unworkable. Or at least not worth bothering.

Yeah. Fix this today please.

    How is this a bug , the instance has a cap . When a instance becomes full new players go into another instance that isn't full .
    When all instances become full a new instance will open up .
    You would have to wait a while for a lot of people to join and create new instances then what usually happens is that people jump to instances that become less populated ( and try to keep as many instances open as possible ) . Thats why there are usually many more instances available - tends to be more people on during UK / EU playing hours and therefore high numbers of players per instance .

    Maximum instances can be set to whatever they want. Overcrowding makes it pointless in the aspects I mentioned. They occasionally do admit they capped the number too low and change it. As it was higher up until today and is now lower after server problems I’d guess the reset put it back to a previously too low setting. Maybe it’ll fix itself. But if not, pointing it out will get it looked at sooner.

    There is nothing to be fixed. The number of instance grows over time when there are more people.

    In my day time, it usually has less instance and filled with people each like what you see now.

    In my night time, there are much more instance and less people in many instance such as more than 10 instance less than 3 players. People moves around instance like I usually do.

    It is my night time now but I chalk that as less people come to the game after server re-started. When people starts coming, instance will grow in its own course like usual.

    For whatever it worth, there are 23 instances now.

    The reason there isn't as many instances as there usually are is because there were less people online throughout the day. We had a very long maintenance lasting well into the EU TZ night, even into the US East coast's evening. So the US players never inherited their instance counts and had to repopulate from scratch. Anyone who plays around normal downtime sees this happen, but instead of at 9am PST, it was at almost 4pm PST.

    The number of instances depends on the amount of people in a zone and it's activity throughout the day. They close when there are no players in that instance any longer. It will be back to normal tomorrow.

    The number that they do change, is the maximum number of players per instance. That will change the total amount of instances for the same number of players, but will not change the number of players, that obviously, depends on the players.

    Thats a great idea. 10k AD for a private instance for example.

    You would need to add a few zeros to that amount to get any traction with the dev's.
