I've seen this happen all too often over the years, they have an event and suddenly the last few hours are swallowed up with everyone being kicked offline while they do server stuff. They have never granted additional event time to make up and compensate players. If I was running things I would delay the offline stuff beginning until everyone had reached the official advertised end of the event so it didn't eat into any of the event at all, not even 5 minutes. But that's too logical.

they gave out the appearance change ever year on halloween and wasn't sure if we would get one or not

Not normally, no, but something extreme like this hasn't happened in, like, 5 years or so. I think they compensated for that, but it was because you would need a 7 day streak to spend your invoke tokens or you would lose them all (instead of being able to hold 14 like now and no streak needed).

I would hope they can at least compensate the VIP members for their key and reroll tokens if they couldn't log in to claim them. They are probably not going to compensate the rest of us at all.

I was wondering if I was losing my mind, or something, but I am really wondering why the game hasn't come back up yet. It's been seven minutes and no news about another extension. Honestly, this has gotten more than ridiculous.
