Are these no longer available for purchase? They used to be available in the trade bar store if I recall correctly but they appear to have been removed...

Makes it almost impossible to complete the motes quests in elemental evil locations

    Yes, they were removed. It is my hope that sometime in the future they up the drop rate of Motes from 1% to like 20%, or reduce the amount of Motes needed to like 20 or something.

    One can only hope... as it stands without the wands you'd have to complete around 500 minor heroics just to get 100 motes... which is completely ridiculous... having to complete 100 with the wands was bad enough
