Cannot Get Quest 'Defending The Dale'

On my Cleric Jade I used an SKT campaign buyout token years ago. In an attempt to do legacy campaign quests I have started progressing through the storylines in Bryn Shandar, Cold Run, Lonelywood, SoMI. The problem is all NPCs in Bryn and Lonelywood will not grant any repeatable quests except the weeklies. I cannot pickup any quests in Cold Run. All NPCs have daily repeatable quests grayed out with the text "Obtain or complete the quest, Defending the Dale". I've gone to every task in the SKT campaign window and have ensured there are no actions to take and all are completed. In my Journal they only quests active are the weeklies for bryn [where you kill the Yetis, i forget the name] and Lonelywood [tome of mileki, bad spelling].

I want to bump this because I noticed something else. Makos is still standing next to Artus Cimber in Cold Run. It's like there is a story quest line missing. Other than that the situation is the same. Everything is compete and collected in the campaign window, only 2 weekly quests can be obtained.

I was roaming around Cold Run when I found Xuna with the quest "Upon Closer Inspection". This happened after I drowned. But there wasn't anything on the map to indicate the existence of an NPC with an available quest. I'll update after I complete the quest.

Problem solved. Completing the quest got me back on track with the story line. The lack of a golden path to Xuna at The Bitter Shore campfire may need a look. This can be closed.
