L70 Boost token - Bug that changes the origin details for character regardless what you enter

So let me start by saying i have already put this issue to the Customer Support and they were literally useless. So bad i wish to make an actual complaint. That is another issue however.
As for this bug, i created a new Gith character and set his origin details to be Northdark/Escaped Slave. When i finished creating the character and then applied the L70 token, it reset his origin details to Netheril.
So i thought perhaps i made a mistake when i input the origin details, the bug made me doubt myself. So with the mild OCD i have for these things, i bought another L70 token and created another Gith character nearly identical to the first.
This time i made 100% sure his origin was Northdark/Escaped Slave. Once again, i applied the L70 boost and when i got in game it had defaulted back to Netheril.
Extremely frustrating. Support would not even refund me the cost of the 2nd token, despite the fact its a bug with a paid product.
