mighty vitality & shield not working

on my barbarian i can turn the class feat mighty vitality on and off and the power and hit points on my stat sheet do not change also i can hold up my sword to block and put my currsor directly on the target attacking me and yet somehow the damage goes strait to my health bar. has anyone else expirenced these buggs and if so could they be lookewd into? can do further research and upload captures if needed
