Companion gear insanity

How many hundreds or thousands of ME/WE do I have to run to get the Burnt Belt?

It's insane that you get the same gear over and over. There are still 6 pieces of companion gear that I've never seen.
The things I already have drop all the time. The one thing i need, will not.

Is there some secret?

    Yeah, that's the story of the game. I've run Castle Never more times then I care to admit and still no Ring of Sudden Precision +5. I've opened hundreds of Zok's useless potion boxes and no Staff. The list goes on and on. It's all RNG, you may never get the drop you want. You could get it on your next run.
