Tyranny of Dragons Campaign Turn-in Quest BUG: Common Cause

I've already completed all the subquests under the quest "Common Cause" given by Harper Boward at Protector's Enclave, yet it still appears on my map as if I have not yet completed it, therefore I can't turn it in and get the rewards. I already abandoned the same quest (at that time assigned to Icespire Peak) only to find out it doesn't work, again, since I tried redoing the Common Cause quest which was to be done in Rothe Valley this time. It's the subquests Thar Greenborough gives (Venfithar and Sabotage Lightning Jars). I've completed this and still can't turn it in, as if it was never done.

You have to complete the quest on the same server day that you received it. If you wait until after the server resets, the zone specific quest may have changed. Also, if you drop and retake Common Cause after having turned in Culling the Cultists, the quest will not be completable.

Oh okay. Understood! So do you have any ideas on how I could get it back to work? Like a way around having turned in Culling the Cultists first? I'm planning to drop Common Cause once I log back in.

Drop everything and start over the following day would be the safest course of action.
