Storm pillar

On my character when i use storm pillar it freezes on and cant move ive tryed to teleport and defeat myselff but doesnt release the only way i can release storm pillar is to come out of whatever im doing i.e questing or in a dungeon i have spent years on this character and money and finding this very frustrating my game tag is samm hawklight /rainbowlemon405
