Finding Guilds

So far has been in many guilds from my own to others, The thing I find in most are that any are not really helpful and have no plans to be. If you are a Guild leader one thing I know was a Good thing for the Guild is that the Leader has one of Each Character Class and can be there to assist in a moments notice, or if you need some assistance the members also are there for you and the Guild, so Many of the guilds are not there for the players but the guild perks and more. just my opinion

I've found that there are a vocal few in most alliances that I've been in. They also tend to be the most helpful.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

Would be nice if they really are, since most people now adays have no idea what the game really is all about

Guilds and Alliance can only be helpful to an extent, some guilds are very good with helping, while other help only when most needed and other prefer their members to be self sufficient.

As one of the guild leader, I do not play every class. Sorry but I neither have the time or investments/commitment to do so, major kudos to the leaders that do play every class. But I do make notes who are good at playing each class in the Alliance so I can direct players to them.

As for your comment “since most people nowadays have no idea what the game is really about”..... I’ve learned that best to let each members play the game how they want without guild leaders/officer dictating what they must/should do. I do occasionally check in with each of my members and give them advice if they need.

I've got roughly 100 active players in my guild at the moment varying from endgame to newly LvL80. If I had to stop everything I'm doing at a moments notice because someone needed help with this, that or the other thing I'd never get a chance to actually play my toons and do the content I like to do. It's ridiculous to expect anyone, guild leader or normal guildie, to drop everything the moment someone needs help with any little thing. If a player is struggling with content its probably more helpful for them to ask "what can I do to improve so I can do this content" vs. "can someone come kill this for me so I can complete this quest".
