I played neverwinter for a while back in the day but left because it felt like nothing changed, I decided to come back and I am loving the new fast paced feel but I found out foundries were retconned... Why? I feel like they were the one thing that made this game unique and it feels kind of pointless now without it...

It was dead for years. Most players did not run it due to the lack of game related rewards, and the majority of the creators stopped due to the bugs, broken stuff, outdated assets, republishing thing every mod, and ofc the lack of interested players.
