Server connectivity issues

I've been having problems with server disconnects for the last month or so. It seems that every time the server loses the internet even for a second, it can't find it back. It just gets stuck in a "connecting to login server" or "retrieving map list" screen for 3 minutes, only to eventually disconnect every time. At the very least, can you just make it disconnect sooner, rather than getting stuck for so long?

Otherwise my internet works. In fact I'm writing this while my game looks for the login server right now

Sorry I can't give much technical information about this issue, I don't know where to look.
