Problems with 'unable to authenticate'

Anyone else is unable to connect in server?

I was invoking and was dced before finish 2nd toon, and now I can't connect anymore.

    Hi. Trying to log into the game but I am getting a "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" error message every time. Anyone else suffering with this?

    It is 2:30PM Central on 1/21/2020

    Server shows green but I cant login...

    Problem?

    Same...and it's not telling me they're doing maintainance...says the server is up and everything.

    You need to look at the, now closed, authentication error thread for an answer. Or the the whelp record glitch time one for why it happened.

    Its everyone I think. There is another thread where the Mod says it has something to do with the lockbox. Probably giving out too many rewards and needs to be nerfed.

    Exactly. To be more precisely, the Stardock Lockbox. For many people, the first key you use on this lockbox, you'll get the Legendary Pack

    Anyone else not able to authenticate? I keep getting connection timed out. at first I thought I had my pw wrong so I reset it. Now I just want to know if anyone else is having this issue?

    I've seen a thread which explains that there has been a problem with the new lockboxes but not one which says that the lockboxes are stopping people logging in.

    i have the same "server unable to authenticate".... but 40 minutes remain until they said the server would be up.

    Green light indicates game is up and ready but I keep getting the same message: "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" :anguished:

    I think a lot of users have this prob. First a "new security check" was asked me why the "PC is changed" :o ..I don't think so ! Anyway , I hope tecnicians will solve ASAP !

    How lucky! It will most likely get a roll back right away. I wonder who had the fat fingers that caused that little delay? :lol:

    The issue now is something unrelated to the Lockbox issue. The dev team is aware and they are working on getting it fixed.
