Alpha Compy's Instincts gonna be fixed before live?

I'm one of many who probably invested in the pack with an alpha compy companion on live since it was added to zen store. (Yes, i bought mine using zen, which i spent money on) However i get a bit confused when i notice how it's bugged and not working as intended. Once slotted into a companion utility slot you can see the intended increase in power, but if you change instance/zone then my power drops like it's not there at all.
Only temporary solution to this is to unslot and re-slot it EVERY single time you go somewhere else, which is starting to get a little annoying.
I logged on preview tonight with hopes to see it fixed and addressed here.. but seems like i was out of luck.
Are there plans on having the power slot of this companion sorted before M18 goes live?
