There's currently a problem I'm seeing with stats, and that is, that it is too easy to reach the caps for content. A lot of people are capp'ing as if they would run ToMM, but they don't and probably never will run that dungeon, as they don't have enough power and hp, which is a good indicator that stats are just too easy to cap, all of them (except for power and hp, but cost is the real limiter there).
What this means, is that the new mechanics and the new stats they released in m16, are pointless. The whole thing can basically be reduced to just Power and HP, base item-level solely on that, and we'd have the same exact game. I think this is a problem, because the other stats are a given, this is also why dual and tri stat enchants are not needed, Radiant is king. There's no thinking about maxing crit vs accuracy or arm pen to maximize dps for your build because, just cap everything.
The only place these counter stats actually matter, is in PvP, but there, the problems with the mathematics under the hood really start to become apparent.
