I’ve reported this to Arc and they suggested I post it here.
My 70th level Warlock has several items, artifacts and even bonding enchantments, along with the refinement points, stones, marks and level requirements but when attempting to upgrade any of them the screen says the item is ready to be upgraded but the squate button option to initiate the upgrade remains unavailable.
My alliance suggested checking to be sure I hadn’t set the “ward required for upgrade” toggle and I checked it to be sure. I hadn’t, so that wasn’t the problem.
Arc’s reply was I had discovered an actual ‘bug’ in play. As an aside, I even went back on the character and bought wards to see it having one would allow the upgrade, it failed still.
Then, just to finalize my reasoning, I switched to another character after mailing one of the enchantments to myself. My ranger was able to upgrade it, using the same enchanting stones and marks, with no problem. No ward needed, though I did use 2 proc wards to upgrade it as far as I cared to at that time.
