Previous event merchant (Tales of Old) location?

Does the Tales of Old merchant stay for a week after end of event like other events? If yes, where is he located? Thanks.

    He was at the corner of the event area nearest to the merchant building, but he is gone now. Stayed 1 or 2 days after hell pit started.
