Ello. I would like to find a current list detailing the different symbols as you are fighting, ie; broken shield, bent arrow, along with the different variations of yellow, orange, red and blue. It would be nice to know what they mean. Can someone point me in the right direction please? TY.

To answer your question:
Broken Shield means your defense is reduced. Usually this is a 5% reduction.
bent arrow means you/enemy successfully deflected an attack. Deflecting means you took only half the damage of the attack.
Yellow damage is normal damage that you do.
Orange damage is Critical damage that you do.
Red is any damage that you take.
Blue is damage done to shields.
A Sword next to a damage number means you/enemy took combat advantage damage. This damage is higher than normal.

They missed one, though.
A string of "0"s...
Means you/the enemy have some broken-HAMSTER bugged power/gear unfixed for several mods.

Took thinks that means you have received a defense debuff (lowered DR, lowered Def, lowered Dflct, etc).
*ITRC, that pops up on debuffs like Ras Nisi's AoE.
But don't quote The Took on that.

It means damage was absorbed by your defense and/or your shield.
BTW, it seems that these damage floaters may be distracting you.
Unless floaters are helping you to play better, you should turn off those you do not need.
They can be disabled in display settings.
Just FYI.
