Best companion for a wizard?

I currently have a Galeb Duhr, however it does not collect aggro at all... What companion is the best for a wizard? Item level is 17k

Augment companions with high rank bondings runes are the best.
Bulette pup is the best between them, but it's expensive.
Deepcrow hatchling is a litle behind bulette pup as active, but gives you a 8000 power (at legendary) bonus in a slot making him the best choice for low AD player.

if you want something to draw agro -- try a field medic or any striker . . . medic backs into things all the time and strikers love to pick fights

    For an non-augment:
Phase Spider & Blink Dog will get there fast to draw aggro. Its a matter of time. One shot from you will give you perma-aggro with any companion active. As a bonus, they sometimes proc you positional combat advantage.

    I recommend for active augments:

    Cheapest: Just a Deepcrow Hatchling
    Best single: Bulette
Great alternative: Deepcrow Hatchling (only for 8,000 power), then use Bulette or Quasit for active augment. Both give you about 3,200 more power than augments lacking power boost.

To round out your entourage there are lots of choices:

Slot 1 - Can't go wrong with Redemption
DEF - Minstrel for 4,000 power or Ioun Stone of Might for 2,000 power
UTIL - Owlbear Cub definitely, alternatives are Energon and Golden Lion
OFF - Deepcrow Hatchling for 8,000 power
OFF - Zhentarim Warlock for 4,000 CA + 16,000 Health
OFF - (Option Slot) Alpha Compy if you can afford, otherwise use what you need most
