server down again ?

Seems like they have problems with the server again !!

    Yup. I was thrown out and now it is down.

    I've been having connection issues since the client got updated last week.
    I log in and have longer than normal wait periods for the character screen to load.
    It will give the loading circle when trying to load the selected character and sometimes disconnect or finally load. It happens randomly and sometimes it takes a few attempts before I can get logged back in.

    Also, sometimes when loading new areas the loading bar seems to get stuck near the end. After a while it disconnects or when it does finally load the invoke icon is stuck at 00:00. If I try to go to the menu to exit or change character nothing happens, but if i select log out it works.

    I've heard some other people are having the same issues to the point of not even being able to play the game. So with the account server not loading for some players while other's are still in the game leads me to believe there's an issue with the recent client update....and it's probably gonna happen again at some point because the connection issues I'm having are still happening.

    I rarely had connection issues like this before that client update.

    I'd like to know what changes were made to make it seem like the game forgets or ignores its connection to some players, but not all.

    I just (re)started this game yesterday and this is a really disheartening experience to have for a second day... I would have less trouble with it if there were a server status indicator literally anywhere, or if dev's would post something to the forums about it so that I don't have to dig around on the internet for an hour to find an obscure thread in a random sub-forum of the game forums by a few members complaining about it being (potentially) down in order to confirm that I don't have a problem on my end.

    CMON Cryptic you can do better than this.. and I don't mean by guaranteeing server up-time I mean at least a spot of transparency if there are problems cause I'm tempted to go find a diff MMO now and it won't be an arc MMO.
