I was soloing a couple Gith WEs with one rune, and I'm always glad if the Golem boss shows up, since he's one who does not fully regenerate his health if my character dies; which, with him, usually does not happen unless five seconds of lag help him out.
Yet some of the other named Gith bosses appear to respawn (?) at full health as well as with another name; either not always, ot nor all are affected.
Unfortunately this makes them basically impossible to beat with the additional lag, since said five secs happen frequently, and even less is deadly: One hit of this boss costs my main (Warlock, 20.5k, 260k health) a quarter of that health, if not more. Even if the lag would not prevent any try of countering with Stones of Life, the mere cost of this renders the fight ridiculous in comparison with other bosses, also illithid ones. Some hit hard, which is cool if one actually can avoid their attacks, but these specific Gith bosses appear somewhat overpowered, plus the respawn. It's cheaper, easier and quicker to re-run the mission, hoping for another boss.
An additional curio, though it might be coincidence, is that I never faced one of them when running WEs with a party.
So I want to ask: Is this a bug, or are they intentionally like this?
