Bug end chest in ME

As of today I encountered a chest bug in ME runs.
a. got normally the quest.
b. collected all needed runes.
c. no chest loot, i was able to interact with it but it was not opening (no loot pop-up)

This happened 3 times in a row.

    "Sphere of Influence: This quest now gives the enhanced runic resonator upon completion."

    This was in the patch notes and seems relevant. Not sure exactly what it means, especially for players who already did it.

    I'm having the same problem as OP and it happens in the Warden Expeditions too. Really frustrating. I've stopped running ME (despite still wanting those zok boxes) and now WE seems pointless too.

    I don't think it has anything to do with runic resonator because it started a couple weeks ago before Mod 17 for me.

    I've reported it several times in game.

    EDIT: It was the runic resonator. Picking back up the artifact gear quest gave me a new one. I originally dropped the mission because I wasn't going to grind for essence and I didn't want to see it in my journal.

    Why the resonator was removed from my inventory in the first place I can't say, it's not something that goes in a backpack so I didn't even know I had it in the first place.
