gith race question

with the upcoming gith i had a question bout a few things.

1.when it goes live...and im vip, it says we can make a gith for free
2.if thats the case....during that time will i be able to buy an appearance change token and change an existing character into a gith? or does it have to be a brand new toon?

    Mod 17.
    VIP can get it free before others in the first 2 weeks. Everyone can get it free after the first 2 weeks. People who do not login within certain period after mod 17 live will need to pay to get it.
    There is race reroll token. That exists today.

    "The gith race will be available free to VIP for the first 2 weeks of the module and afterwards free to everyone (including VIP) for the 2 weeks after that. After the initial 4 weeks, players who didn’t log in for the free gith will have to buy a pack to get access to this race."

    Well, i do hope after the "log in" in that timeframe as mentioned above there will be at least some kind of notification or feedback in game, that clearly states that the race is now unlocked...
    I do believe in killing the messenger...

    Lilke this has been said by devs that indeed it will be free frst 2 weeks to vip an after 2 weeks to evrybdy
    it does not state wheather u will have to create new toon an get this race or will be able to use race change on exsisting toon an make a character this race so this in fact is a good question that needs clarafication in terms of does simply logging in unlock this race to be able to use on exsisting or new toons or does a new toon have to be made durin the 2 week vip time or 2 week anybody time to permenatly unlock this race to use on any toon exsisting or not
