Is there a way to preview companions before buying them in AH?

I would like to be able to check how a companion looks before buying them from the AH, but from what I've noticed I can only preview them from vendors like the AD vendor in town (maybe the Zen shop too, not sure).

Is there any other way I can check how a companion looks (apart from Googling)? I'm not able to do that in the Collections tab either, from what I've seen.

    That menu looks bugged out.. its blank and black, but in the past you could hold shift and mouse click to link then click to inspect.

    I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!
