Set of Newly Minted "Coins" not able to be handed in.

I recently crafted the set of coined for the MW Quest. Log says I completed the task and to deliver set to the Master of Coins, item is not +1, yet the NPC will not accept them. Is there some hidden step I'm missing or is MW simply not obtainable anymore?

    Make sure the items needed are not Protected, as this prevents them from being turned in.

    Item is not protected. It is character bound and in my bags and not in the crafting tab however. The quest log showed a check mark next to obtain Mint Set and tells me to deliver it but there is no question mark above the NPCs head and he has no additional dialog options.
