I am sure not even the devs can deny Augment Companions are vastly superior to Combat Companions in terms of offense AND defense. Combat Companions can't Tank anymore because the taunting has been removed from their attacks, DPS Companions can't even hit as hard as our weakest At-Wills with their short cooldown attacks, and Healer Companions heal for far too little to be of any real use. So how do we fix it so Combat Companions can be viable again? Here are the ways...
1) Give their Powers proper Magnitudes, or increase the potency of their Damage/Healing in general.
2) Make every single Companion in the game an Augment to spread out the potential active Companions, like the devs originally intended for Mod 16 before Combat Companions were nerfed so hard they started crying.
