Chests in MEs broken

I was running my daily MEs today, I had the quest and we had 3 rage runes down. I went to open the chest at the end of the run, the chest was lit up, and it didn't give me any loot. Like none at all. This happened all 3 times on my wizard. I had a friend in a different group doing the same thing and he didn't get any chests either. I closed and relaunched the game but that didn't fix anything. What's up with that? Others in our groups did get the chest rewards. Also the quest did complete.
