Waning darkness quest bug?

In the mission waning darkness where you have to go with Celeste to destroy the shadow dragon...once she teleports you yo the mission instance the quest tracker says 'find celeste' and takes you to a spot right near the beginning of the map. There is nothing to interact with and Celeste is not there. Is this a bug or do you have to go around the map and find her? If it is the latter, why does the quest tracker lead you to that spot? I went through most of the map and couldn't find her so couldn't complete the quest, anyone know what's up with this?

just happened to me on xbox. left the instance, reset xbox, re-entered and she was there.
