Whats being done for players who missed companion gear via bugged quests?

Im hoping and or wondering if we are ever going to get our items via in-game mail..... Since that has not happend yet and probably will not at this point im curious if there are any plans to help players suffering GREATLY from missing this gear... were talking 10k+ to multiple stats just gone...
