I wanted to share my experiences regarding the games 'RNG'. I have been playing this game actively for years and have multiple characters. I'd like to give and example. Comparing the RNG of refining an item with the results from the new proffessions tasks. Both use a percentile to measure success. There is an obvious inconsistency between RNG results within proffessions and upgrading/refining (and there should't be). Any mastercrafter will affirm this if you ask them. The new proffession system has really highlighted this. Why? Because in proffessions you can 'test' the RNG daily, multiple times without consuming an valuable/usefull ward. For example: Proffesions tasks with a high % of profficency success fail frequently, usallly within 3-5 attempts! Compare this to say trying to upgrade an enchantment with a 5-1% chance of success and you'll see what Im getting at. Its completely inconsistent!. Dont take my word for it. Test it for yourself. Setup a proffession task so you have , say 95-99% chance of profficiency success and see how quickly you fail. Then try the same thing with refining an enchantment. You'll notice a massive difference. The new proffesion system has confirmed for me what I always knew. The games RNG is not a 'True' RNG and not to trust it or rely on it. As for the developers and PWE. I just want to say 'You dont fool me with your phony RNG'.
