I just had contact with Arc Games/Perfect World "support" over having an item disappear.
It was a PROTECTED rank 14 radiant. It was on my boots and since I was changing boots I needed to take them off and put them on another set of boots.
If you look at gameplay, you will see that there are only two things you can do with enchantments that are ON armor--refine them or remove them intact. NOTHING ELSE is possible--not destroying them, not discarding them.
When I used the "remove intact" option, the enchantment did NOT appear in my inventory - not in my bags, not in my chest.
I filed at ticket and this was the conclusion:
"I understand that you accidentally discarded an item.
As a one-time courtesy we have replaced the Rank 14 Radiant Enchantment. It will be available in your character's inventory upon your next login. In the future, please be mindful when interacting with your items and be careful when confirming any actions.
There is also a protection status that you can apply to almost all items, which may prevent this happening in the future
Let us know if you have any further concerns."
I wrote back -- pointing out that it had to be a program bug and got this:
"Unfortunately, your logs show that you did discard it. We cannot see what you actually did in game, just the results. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we are not developers. If you have concerns with how the game is working, your feedback is best expressed on the forums.
Twylabite"
So here I am posting this because YOUR support says I did this on purpose, when I did not.
