Transmute costs?

I was wondering, where was it posted that the transmute costs have increased?

I went to transmute a set of Undermoutain foor gear into Ileryum boots, and noticed that the cost was over 8k ADs :o
It used to be 5k

    what do you think omg!!! new mod ne items higher cost, it's that simple, old stuff is still same price as before.

    No, it doesn't appear to be tied to the item, but to the level of the toon. I tested, and at level 80 it costs my Ranger 8,204 AD to change appearance for ANY new chest piece.

    For my level 16 Warlock Alt, the same level 80 gear as a transmute would cost me only 10 AD.

    Why they charge anything at all is beyond me. Though I suppose I should be happy they aren't trying to charge Zen for it.
