Dissapointed

Hi i play this game since the release in 2013. And i saw a lot of changes, good ones and bad ones. Still frustrated about a lot of lag/ rubberbanding and bugs who weren't or aren't get repaired. Dissapointed about some changes in different mods. As like good dungeons that disspeared, gear and weapons that change every time there was a new upgrade (mod) So i started farming them with every new mod.

But this mod is the most wicked change you ever did. I start again as a newbee. U give me the change to level to 80!! But i am not 80 because the dungeons i do they are level 70 and you lower my stats in that area. Just lower them.. so cheap. The rotation sucks, the damage sucks and i did try a few build changes but it is all the same. Instead of making level 80 area's (or to make it easy for you get back the dungeons you deleted and set them as level 80 dungeon). All the dungeons who are there now they are there for so long and i have done them over and over is getting bored so not a challenge at all. And maybe you thought to lower my stats it would be a challenge again¿ Really¿ So cheap! I know i don't have to play this game i played for 6 years but i was curious for mod 16. Maybe my expectations were to high but i thougt something great was going to happen.

I don't see a rollback happening any time soon.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

Agree, unfortunately I don't see many main changes being done. I believe they will go with, " if we fix the major bugs" they will enjoy the new feel of the game.

We will wait to see what the answers are from the Stream on Tuesday, but to me not looking good.

I think there has been enough feed back on how bad this update is by now that they would have done something more about it than they have. I don't think the game is even worth playing as is. And not sure if it will ever be again. Best thing you can do is either quit like I did or continue playing without wasting anymore money on this game.

I have been gaming a long long time.

#1 on my list for biggest let down was Sega CD
#2 is Mod 16 - This is the worst implementation I have ever seen of any game. Quests are buggy, tuning is out of whack for all levels of players, information is limited, Customer Service is horrific. I started playing in Mod 15, which I thouroghly enjoyed. This abomination is just embarrassing.

For the life of me, I cannot imagine how this train wreck made it to live. Whose decision was it to say, hey we are ready. The community has been nice, it is one of the things I have enjoyed in this game, but I am just done.

Although I am super burnt and tired of WoW, at least it is playable.

I get the feeling they really don't care anymore. Cryptic/PWE have their shiny new MMO rights to a Magic the Gathering game. That's where all the talent got put. Hence the sudden lobotomization of the class and feat trees, and the elimination of the creative and interesting boons from the campaigns to some "dial a point" click fest that's bugged out the wazoo (seriously, we're going on week three and apparently the HP boons are *still* freaking bugged). The refusal (or as I increasingly suspect, the outright *inability* to fix the scaling problems*). The sudden raise of the AD cap to sucker new players into buying Zen to purchase stuff with AD before they understand that AD has become worthless.

Cryptic doesn't care about NWO anymore. They'd stuck the D-Team on this project, dumbed it down enough to where they can, on paper, at least, not screw it up too badly (key word, on paper) before the end, and are trying to milk the game for all its worth before it inevitably crashes and burns.

Enjoy it while you can...they're not going to fix it. They reaffirmed that as much in the streaming post. They're claiming the problem is "broken critters" and other things. Not the fundamental, system wide screw up they've made that *destroys* any sense of progression that the player gets, punishes them for leveling up, and makes anyone with their head screwed on straight ask a very pertinent question: "why should I sink hours of my time and/or my hard earned money into a game that *actively punishes me* for said investments?" And I'm increasingly convinced, as I said, that the scaling is fundamentally *baked in* to this mod and the new system. That there's no way for them to "roll it back" and its why they're ignoring our feedback. I don't think they can fix it. Because I don't think they know how. So they'll blather on, treating the symptoms rather than the disease, and continue crowing about how everything's fine and dandy and their sorry for their little bugs....

This is the New Neverwinter. And it's going to be here to stay for a long time.
