Not able to move in Master Expedition

I have come across an issue twice where I can only move by teleport. I cannot walk in any direction. There was not any fear effect on me although I know in other places when you get the fear effect it locks you in place. The only solution I have found is to close through application through task manager and re-log back in. The last time this happened I was running the Master Expedition solo. I had placed a single chaos rune so that it was not too difficult and finish my third for the day on my main character. I had beat the first boss and was just outside the room for the second boss. I closed out the application and re-logged. When I logged back in I was in the Yawning Portal and the quest was failed. I could not re-enter through the Map, the quest was not in my journal and I was not able to accept the quest again.
