buff indicators of potions not visible UI?

When I use potions, invocation blessings, summer food etc, I don't see if I am buffed or not at the buffs/ conditions bar. Stats do increase, but I can't tell if I am buffed when I login or not. (Unless I keep track of all my stats).

If you click on the status bar. ie-any buff, a drop down panel appears and indicates all the buffs you
have going, with timer!
Guess this was done to remove the long line of buffs on some, and to hide it from 'prying-eyes' too!
