Cleansing light - Devout encounter

Im not sure its me considering i tried many times and different ways, but cleansing light doesnt cleanse paralyse from Ras Nsi. It clears the icon on my party but the effect remains. I tried to cast cleansing light very far from group so i dont get paralysed myself and it wouldnt interrupt the cast, but nope, doesnt cleanse anything. Icon disappears, debuff remains
(doesnt really matter considering Souls' HP but oh well xD)
