We spent millions of AD on our epic insignias of dominance when they became necessary. Now we have to spend millions more because the devs thought, for some reason, that we actually missed the old need-a-duplicate-enchantment system that we, in fact, despised for years, and wanted it made even worse?
Just require some reagents from the wondrous bazaar, please. This could have been designed worse but why do it this badly?

Yet here it is again. It's like someone wanted to design something different but had no creativity whatsoever and just fell back on old method.
This looks like it's meant to encourage players to buy more/bigger bags
I hatez it.
I am ignoring it all for now.. what a effing lousy system.

This would be a lot less painful if we could refine lower ranking enchantments to make all the duplicates we need (but needing duplicates remains a terrible idea and a huge waste of bag space).
We should also be able to craft insignia. This would at least give crafting a place in this mod since otherwise it's completely useless until new recipes are introduced.
In short: this bad idea is also a missed opportunity and could easily be turned into something sensible and not just an additional source of frustration for players already beset by this mod's many poorly executed and poorly conceived changes, e.g. scaling.
"Refinement is a core part of Neverwinter gameplay, but a lot of the time it could feel like it was weighing down on you as a player. The pure number of items that needed to be held on to, the matching bonuses, the different reagents for different artifact types, and yes the hoarding of items until the 2x Refinement Points weekends to maximize the gains. In the end it felt more like a chore that had to be done than a fun part of the game where the player kept making progress."

"But... we're doing it again anyway... it's not EXACTLY the same, so not QUITE as bad, so we can technically claim it's different, but we all know the truth, don't we."
