unable to play [pc]

So, i have been wanting to play Neverwinter again and i downloaded the latest update and tried to enter the game. it only reaches the first screen were it says "CRYPTIC" and crashes, I've tried verifying and safe mode but neither work. it isn't the shard either as i'm on the default one and i'd love to know what to do or get some help from somewhere, thanks.
