Having trouble triggering map hints for Whispering Caves quests

I have 3 quests waiting for me in Whispering Caves (one is killing a Hulk, another for is a Mind Flayer, etc.), but I don't have any of the normal map hints for them. I went randomly around the map and couldn't find these creatures. Is there a portal I'm supposed to go through that will get me to the map I need?

    Never mind! I found someone online that pointed out that the quests I'm looking for are in the Upper Vault and then I found a map that showed where that was. I'm not happy that the game couldn't have pointed me in the right direction on its own.
