Searching Workshop Recipes

Something I’m struggling to break the habit of is pressing Y after entering a search term to execute a search (auction house function) in the workshop. I’m constantly deleting my search term. In the auction house you press Y to search, B to clear the field. In the workshop Y clears the field, A searches, B goes back. Is there any chance to get consistency between the two?

Completely agree. You set up a method of user interaction and then completely changed it for the workshop. Just another example of horrible user experience implementation.

It works the same way searching recipes did in the old system.

Hmm, I only used that search once or twice. Maybe that's why it seems off to me.

Now that I think about it more, they did something a little different.
Old way
X - enter value
A - search
B - clear field or go back if empty field

New way
X - enter value
A - search
Y - clear field
B - back

Y wasn't used in the old system.

I never had to search in the old system so I guess I never noticed. Maybe that should tell them how much simpler the old was...

The old system was simpler. All I did was make AD crates, Gem crates, and RP. And that's exactly what they wanted to change about professions.
