Need help with right buff time to hit harder.

What's up guys?
I play as GWF since mod 5, now i'm 18k+, my build very similar to Northside.
I usually play with new players to help them to lvl up their Item level, i love the friendship we made.
But when i play with end game guildmates i notice i can't get the right time to pop my artifact,swarm, battle fury and ibs, kill trash is easy and have great time with good or bad buffs/debuffs, BUT, when i fight agaisnt bosses i can't hit real harder,
and i know is something about the buffs/debuffs because sometimes i do high hits, but i would like to control that, i believe the best way is understanding how others classes work and when the give me their buffs.
i saw gwfs killing orcus on t9 in seconds, gfs, trs even a DC DO friend of mine did it.
i know after commander strike is a good time to use ibs, and after the emp forged from DC AC is a good time to use battle fury, marks of op devo, i understand this but simply can't kill end game bosses really fast as possible, the only one i killed in 1 fase was the vampire last boss of CR but the sun sword does all the work.
