I was just playing MSP and i couldn't SEE through all those buff icons that go across the screen. I had to move them from rearrange hud, but that just makes it more a nuisance now. So i thought, why not just have it redesigned. I'm sure the design is from early days in the NW, so perhaps it can be changed now. here is my idea:
Instead of buff icons from other player that we don't need to know about put instead information we do need like damage buff % debuffs, curses, etc. in nice easy bars. For instance have a single bar for damage %. Since DC's and OPs buff this (and others) we could see it grow larger. This should help players to "time" thier strikes to coincide with the biggest damage % status.
Same with boss icons. They are way too small and change too often to be able to know if there are getting buffed/debuff or what and by what. Instead just make it a simple Damage% Damage buff% debuff% etc.
While i'm at it. Give the option to change damage floaters to a summary crit vs normal damage over the player rather than over each target in a mass of yellow and white so much you can't see the action unless you turn all that off.
