Has refining been nerfed because upgrading from R12 to R13 enchantment with 3% chance for success didn't took me more than 30 p.wards few mods ago and now i wasted more than 100 p.wards with no success.

My DC last week blew through 40 preservation wards on a 10% upgrade. I have tested the random and found it is "streaky", like scratch off tickets. Think of it like this; You have a roll of 250 tickets, odds printed on the back say 1 in 6 is a winner. So they print 42 winners on the roll, but they are in clusters. This means you could go through a lot of losers before you hit the cluster.
I ran a simple test about a year ago upgrading 60% chance refinements. You have to run a lot to see the clusters but they do exist. Anything with a 3% or 1% chance I would buy a coalescent ward to do that.
That being said, I had a 60% chance in an enchant upgrade and gave up after 30 wards the other day.
Today I went through 11 skill kits to open a box that said 75%. That means three out of four times I would expect to get it. It also means one in four times I won't. If you do the maths there its a 1 in over 4 MILLION chance that I would not miss it that many times. Please, Neverwinter RNG is not real RNG it's slot machine RNG lol
