I have one equipped and one in inventory and a third one just gave the error message. So I'm to keep the second one in the inventory so that I don't keep getting a second one.
@sgtpostal#4408 I too think that's messed up. Different strokes for different folks but I like collecting things. Thank you Devs for the limited event items. I really liked the fedora from Tymora's. I hope there are plans to bring all the event items to the console. I'm sure, I'm not the only collector in the game.
after seeing the siegebreaker mount as a drop that I was kind of wounding why they didn't give us instead the griffon and why they couldn't just give us something new for all of us to love since I did want to see the griffon one in red

I tell you what this horse aint gonna break a siege prancing into combat like it does.
Just once I'd like to see something called "siege breaker" able to be called out and inflict a little damage during an actual siege event... or in battle of any kind for that matter.
Calling something a "siege breaker" but having inflict zero damage when it's ridden into a group of bad guys, or not being able to call it out in some kind of conflict seems to be a bit of misrepresentation in my opinion.
When confronted with a mob of baddies, ride it into a mob and have the mount knock everyone in the mob back a little (with a little damage) or press the key to call out the mount and let it reek holy hell on a few bad guys until they sustain a certain amount of damage (the higher the level of the mount the more damage they can inflict/absorb) then it just goes back into the stable.
But having a grey mount or a gold mount and the both fall after 5 consecutive hits and falling after a player sustains the same percentage of damage, has always seemed a bit 'off' to me.
If a person is riding a grey (common) mount they should fall after 3 consecutive hits or the player sustains damage of 5% of their max.
If a person is riding a green (uncommon) mount they should fall after 4 consecutive hits or the player sustains 10% of their max damage, and green mounts should increase the player's mounted movement 50%.
If a person is riding a blue (rare) mount they should fall after 5 consecutive hits or the player sustains 15% of their max damage, and blue mounts should increase the player's mounted movement 80%.
If a person is riding a purple (epic) mount they should fall after 6 consecutive hits or the player sustains 18% of their max damage, and purple mounts should increase the player's mounted movement 110%.
If a person is riding a gold (legendary) mount they should fall after 7 consecutive hits or the player sustains 20% of their max damage, and gold mounts should increase the player's mounted movement 140%.
All things being considered equal, a player acquiring a higher level mount should be able to see a little more benefit from it than just an increase in speed...
I really wanted that horse in the event store because I thought that it would be a good mount for my paladin.
Getting the Siegebreaker mount was a nice bonus and I am now using it.
The fast trot is also a nice visual change of pace from the usual gallop.
Couldn't expect much better, really. The Griffon mount is the star offering of the event and they wouldn't undermine that with a free-drop Griffon mount, even if it was of a lower quality.
And I am still eyeing the horse in the event store; If they get writs into the Protector's Packs like the news article says they should be, then I will have numerous extra writs by event's end.

I reported in the bug forum a while back that with Mod14 my Neverwinter mount stopped trotting. Seeing how the siegebreaker trots, which kinda makes no sense as its a war horse and not a parade horse, when are they going to fix the horse that SHOULD trot?
this is what they should of done for the event since i think a medium battle cat i think would of been cool with armor where they could of done things right out of the box if they hadn't done other horse mount since I think the cat mount would of blown the event out of the water with ideas to it

^That, definitely...
I'm not a real stickler for detail, but a "siegebreaker" mount that trots instead of charging into or up to something, not much of an intimidation factor for something which, by the name at least, should be kind of aggressive and intimidating...
But then maybe it's a stealth siegebreaker mount...
It trots up to an enemy position and while the opponents are all rolling around on the ground laughing at it, it stomps the HAMSTER out of the bad guys ~

Yeah - I just kept thinking of Monty Python and the Holy Grail

The mount is Siegebreaker something. It's a caprison horse with some barding. The head armor has three spikes on it. I was underwhelmed.
Everything drops from completing HEs. I got them from Encounter completed as well as Great Success.
