Powers GUI cumbersome to reach lower/ bottom entries

Before a recent change one could hit touchpad and cursor-up to focus on the lowest (deepest on list but usually more useful) power.
Now one has to step through to the bottom from the top, the touchpad "jump" now just saves the 1st 3 rows seen on screen.
This slows down changing to powers at the bottom on the fly/quickly.
Can this behaviour be optional? Maybe some prefer it the way it is now, but it definitely slows me down.
