Enchanted Witch's Sash

Can someone please confirm where the sash drops from? I've spent quite a few hours farming Liar's charms, exchanging for bags, and killing piñatas. I have 25 bristles (which oddly only stack to 20), a broomstick and 455 masquerade tokens (was going to buy Zen for these, but no sash, so no sense). Am I doing something wrong? Why can't the sash just be in the Zen market?

The sash drops from pinatas.

Depending on your level, go to a private instanced dungeon which allows you to get a number of hits on the pinata to maximise the loot it drops (e.g. if you are 12k+ IL, then I would suggest FBI as the area is flat and the pinata hardiness scales with the difficulty of the instance you are in).

They increased the drop rate for the sash in the last patch. I have gotten 3 sashes since then: One on my 1st go, another on my 11-15th go, and another on my 15-20th go. Based on drop rates for people in my alliance and zone chat, if I had to wager a guess, I think the drop rate is about 5% now.

The sash when it drops will not always appear as a purple drop. Simply walk over *all* your loot and see if a sash shows up in your inventory. You can only have 1 sash in your inventory at a time. If your inventory is a mess (like mine) check if you have your sash by going to the Masquerade Vendor in PE and see if it is already there.

@froger#9967 If you get the Enchanted Witches Sash, it should appear directly in your inventory. I recorded gameplay where I got my 3rd sash. You can clearly see in the video that my character does not move when the Pinata breaks. I still got the sash. The video can be seen here: https://1drv.ms/v/s!ArsL-xO1AR-TghUk8_JR0fgL0ThZ

Thanks, being 16.6k it looks like I'll have give a private dungeon a go, one shotting these things in PE is only getting me (mostly) useless consumables.

Sometimes the loot lands on your character.

I remember I had to run around the loot to get mine. Perhaps I had lag and it appeared in my inventory anyway? Not entirely sure now ... but to be on the safe side, run around and collect all the loot.

the other loot lands randomly around you and can be picked up by others. The sash seems to go straight to your inventory when the Pinata breaks, and seems totally independent of whether you break it in public, or a private instance, or the stronghold or whatever. It is just a flat 5% chance (or so).

Well that 5% seems to be working against some of us, over a 100 piñatas and still no sash. Been trying since start of festival. Check with festival merchant every time I've popped the piñatas. I quess I won't be getting it

UPDATE

Finally got the sash on Friday. Lost count of the number of piñatas used. Was hoping to get broom for all my alts that will definitely not be happening. I'm done with this festival now
